Deaf Action

In Chiangmai Thailand DMI/ Deaf Action maintains a first rate video and TV program production studio. The team are producing TV programs and video productions on deafness, deaf awareness, educational topics for deaf people and other teaching materials of help to deaf people and the hearing who come into contact with them. Equipment needs constantly up grading as new technologies develop and to maintain the high standard of production that has been reached.

Needed at the moment is a Firestore FS-3 direct to disk recording devise which bypasses the use of tapes and records directly on disk. This saves a considerable amount of time and money in the editing process. With battery, stands, recorder and the works the needed amount is about $4000.
